Solar DHW collector installed 2016 - I estimate a 50% saving on annual DHW costs is tubular, can heat DHW by 15 degrees Celsius under overcast skies. In sunshine at 45 degrees Celsius direct to 450l boiler and transfer to 1500l storage tank at approx 40 degrees Celsius. Invested €15,000 payback approx 10 to 15 years.

PV installed Feb 2023 from 1.3.2023 to date has produced 16851 kWh which I estimate is about 60% of total consumption of which 2000 kWh surplus to the virtual battery greenlogy. Invested 25 000 € payback approx 6 years rough estimate as ee prices are changing.
