Use of low carbon footprint materials in manufacturing. Use of materials with a less intensive life cycle. Use of natural (e.g. wood, hemp, clay, straw, sheep wool) and recycled (e.g. textiles) insulation materials.
Examples of implementation of the solution in practice
Energy-plus house in in the village Krasňany - the construction was realized in the certified diffusion open system TEPORE. Blown straw insulation is used as insulation in the perimeter walls. The roof insulation is blown fibre insulation.
Yurt, forest kindergarten in Zvolen - serves as a forest kindergarten for children. It is a unique project of the first kindergarten of this kind in the town of Zvolen. 140 mm thick wood-fibre flexible insulation was used in the floor.
Reconstruction of a cottage in the village of Malachov - a cottage in the gardening area near city of Banská Bystrica underwent reconstruction in which wood fibre in the form of boards and soft insulation was used, which prevented overheating of the attic in the summer and at the same time created a diffuse open composition. Clay plaster was used on the walls and sloping roof surfaces.
