Description
In the village we merged 3 consumption points (community centre, fire station and public lighting) into one and built photovoltaics - our own power plant on the roof of the municipal office. There are also batteries in the project and we draw power from them at night for public lighting.
Economic benefits
Significant reduction in electricity costs for the municipality, Savings according to the energy audit should be an average of 78 percent of energy throughout the year. This depends, of course, on the number of sunny days, for example.
Environmental benefits
Electricity from renewable sources, a landless way of generating electricity.
Examples of implementation of the solution in practice
We applied for NFP through SIEA. As part of the implementation, we have provided 26 photovoltaic panels on the roof of the KD, an inverter, a circuit breaker box and batteries with a capacity of 17.4kWh are located inside. During the day we use solar energy in the building of the community center, the municipal office and the fire station. At night, we use the charged batteries to power public lighting (about 100 lamps) and the operation of the CCTV system. We keep the lights on all night long, as much as we can afford it. In the summer months we also use solar energy for pumps to water the public areas in the grounds of the community centre and the municipal office. We catch water from the roofs in underground tanks. In the application we can continuously check the consumption and the current withdrawals.
