Description

A solar facade is an alternative to, but also a supplement for, the classic roof-mounted version of a photovoltaic system. Sometimes the roof area is insufficient, while at other times the problem may be the insufficient load-bearing capacity of the roof structure. Thanks to a solar facade, it is possible to use even more sunlight to generate electricity.

Economic benefits

A solar facade, similar to a standard photovoltaic system installed on the roof of a building, reduces electricity costs and increases self-sufficiency.

Environmental benefits

Generating electricity from the sun helps reduce dependence on fossil fuels and thus also helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Furthermore, using electricity generated from Sun's radiation indirectly contributes to improving air quality.

Examples of implementation of the solution in practice

A solar facade was installed, for example, on a family house in Bratislava.
