Description
Cyclists often face challenges during their trips such as flat tires, mechanical failures, or a discharged smartphone or e-bike. ECONEC has developed a smart charging station that can cover almost all the needs of cyclists:
- 5 charging modules and 2 x 230V sockets, allowing up to 7 e-bikes to be charged simultaneously
- USB A/C ports for charging smartphones and smartwatches
- built-in toolkit for bicycle repairs
- compressor with pressure indicator for inflating tires
- touch screen online info panel with regional information and trip suggestions
For cycle routes without access to the grid, they also offer a solar bike shelter, enabling riders to charge their e-bikes directly from the sun and ride on clean, green energy.
Economic benefits
For companies – free e-bike charging for employees as a benefit. Active employees are healthier, more productive, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
For municipalities and regions – boosting attractiveness and tourism. More cyclists = more visitors = more income for local businesses.
Environmental benefits
Cycling is not only healthy for people, but also for the environment. It is quiet, emission-free, and sustainable. High-quality infrastructure and comfortable services encourage more people to switch from cars to bicycles – reducing emissions and easing traffic congestion in both cities and nature.
Examples of implementation of the solution in practice
Margecany – the first complex solar bike shelter with a charging station, significantly boosting regional tourism.
ŠARIŠ Brewery (Veľký Šariš) – employees can charge their e-bikes for free during working hours and use the station’s service functions.
Promenáda Shopping Center, Nitra – customers can recharge their e-bikes free of charge while shopping.
Swiss Re, Knauf Insulation, Neways – companies supporting sustainability and employees’ healthy lifestyles.
Slovenský raj (Slovak Paradise National Park) – 7 solar shelters and 3 freely accessible charging stations improving accessibility for cyclists.
Bachledova dolina – charging stations for e-bikes directly in a popular tourist destination.
