Description
Warm air under the ceiling of the production hall is collected by an air duct. It then passes through an air handling unit with a heat exchanger, where the heat is bounded to water. The heated water heats the production and administrative/social areas of the production buildings with underfloor heating.
Economic benefits
Significant reduction of operating costs for heating.
Environmental benefits
The use of waste heat reduces emissions from heating.
Examples of implementation of the solution in practice
ZKW plant in Krušovce (implementation 2019), awarded the title of Construction of the Year 2019 for the application of the solutions. The first industrial building with A0 energy certificate.
