Description
The parking lot is built on a 400 — 600 mm thick layer of aggregate. Below the given layer is a geotextile preventing possible leakage of oil substances into the subsoil. The surface is made of concrete retention tiles.
Economic benefits
The solution is as expensive per m² of surface area as standard solutions with drainage via oil traps.
Environmental benefits
The parking lot retains stormwater, reducing the need to discharge stormwater to a receiving water body. In the summer months, humidity reduces the temperature over the parking lot.
