Description
Heat pumps utilise the energy of the surrounding environment – from the ground, sun, groundwater or air. Subsequently, they transfer it to a heating system – radiators or floor heating – or use it to heat drinking water. Unlike traditional heaters, they can produce cold water in summer to cool down households.
During the entire year, they maintain an ideal temperature and enable different temperatures settings across different rooms. Depending on the model and the outside environment, they produce approximately 75% of the energy completely free of charge, saving hundreds of euros a year. Therefore, they are not only ecological but also an economical solution for the maintenance of a pleasant temperature during the whole year: they can simultaneously replace air conditioning, heater, fossil fuels and electric boilers. Compared to heating systems that use fossil fuels or electricity, Daikin Altherma can work five times more efficiently, which significantly decreases operational costs. Connecting the heat pump to solar panels or other sources of clean energy protects the environment and saves money.
Economic benefits
When installing a heat pump, you have to count on a higher initial investment, but with the right technology, it will pay for itself within the first five years. An important factor is also a quality project tailored to the specific property. In general, the more often you use the pump, the quicker you will recoup the initial cost. Compared to heating systems using fossil fuels or electricity, Daikin Altherma can operate up to five times more efficiently, significantly reducing running costs. Optimising the return on the money invested in the purchase and installation of a heat pump is also possible thanks to the state subsidy under the Green Households project and the Daikin subsidy for the Bratislava region.
Environmental benefits
Long-term sustainable development is also a current trend in the heating sector. By connecting a heat pump to solar panels or another source of clean energy, for example, you are protecting the environment and saving considerable amounts of money. A Daikin Altherma heat pump reduces CO2 emissions, thereby contributing to environmental protection. Its installation is one of the best investments in the use of renewable energy sources.
