Description

Koor, s. r. o., through IT system and central dispatching, secures complex energy management, operation management, maintenance and management of the entire system of energy supply and services. In each instance where it is technically and legislatively possible, they consider the option of utilising photovoltaic systems.

Their main goal is for all produced energy to be utilised at the given spot, contributing towards the energy independence of the given premises. The photovoltaic power devices, along with battery systems, can also serve the function of a backup UPS, they can supply lighting in garages and shared and public spaces. The connection is construed as a hybrid, with the aid of a distribution grid, although by connecting a photovoltaic system the use of energy from a public grid is eliminated, which reduces the household energy cost. The produced electricity is immediately consumed within the premises, and the surplus is stored in batteries. The batteries supply energy during night hours (server, Wi-Fi, fridge). A hybrid system can function as a backup source at the event of a power outage, and it can supply appliances which are connected to photovoltaics. The device is construed in such a way that it prevents leakage of electricity into the grid. The permanent input capacity is 2000W. The set-up also includes AC/DC protection, measurement of produced and use electricity, the state of the device, connection to the internet with remote supervision.

Economic benefits

The connection is designed as a hybrid, with the support of the distribution grid, but the connection of the PV system eliminates the consumption of electricity from the public distribution grid, thus saving the household on electricity costs. The electricity generated is immediately consumed by the building, with excess electricity stored in batteries. The energy is drawn from the batteries in the evening (server, wifi, fridge). The hybrid system can act as a backup power source in case of a power failure and can supply the devices that are connected to the PV. The device is designed to prevent the flow of electricity to the grid. The continuous output power is 2000 W. The circuitry includes AC/DC protection, metering of electricity produced and consumed, device status, internet connection with remote monitoring.

Environmental benefits

Use of renewable energy.

Examples of implementation of the solution in practice

The photovoltaic system on the roof of the Hájpark - Bratislava residential complex, a unique project of residential buildings in Bratislava's Petržalka district in the middle of greenery, represented in the first phase the construction of 2 residential buildings, which contain 30 flats and multifunctional spaces. In the second, more extensive phase, an apartment complex with 80 flats, polyfunction and a social hall was built. A hybrid photovoltaic power plant with 24 panels of 6 kWp is installed on the roof of the second phase. The photovoltaic power plant facilities are installed in the boiler room. The photovoltaic plant powers the boiler room equipment and the remaining energy is used to preheat the hot water circulation. The projected annual electricity production is 7 800 kWh.
