Description

The key focus of MOSTAX, s. r. o. is producing components for vegetation support walls – the VOM system. Another activity is bridge drainage and distribution of materials for building and repairs of transport infrastructure and sewage. VOM is an ecological bag-based vegetation protection system that replaces support walls made of concrete, stone or blocks. It is a soft, elastic and docile material in a form of bag-based support walls, vegetation division walls, bag-based division materials, vegetation support walls, bag-based protection materials and vegetation protection materials.

VOM is a green solution for support walls, flood prevention walls, stabilisation of slopes, shores of rivers and lakes, banks near roads, highways, bridges, railways, and many other applications. The benefits of the VOM system: it is cheaper than concrete support wall, it has long durability, it is a light product that can be easily erected in hard-to-reach places, it adjusts to uneven terrain, bushes, trees and different obstacles, it is suitable for solutions in nature, for water catchment and anti-flood measures, for stabilising slopes and drifts, adjustments of river channels, rivers, shores, ponds, or lakes, for noise breaking walls, recultivation and landfills and others. It is possible to use it for planting flowers and growing fruits and vegetables such as strawberries, blackberries and the like.

Environmental benefits

The VOM system is an ecological green solution for retaining walls, anti-erosion, flood walls, for stabilization of slopes, rills, banks of watercourses, for the natural appearance of embankments along roads, highways, bridges, railways and for many other applications,
it is a lightweight product that can be easily constructed in difficult to access terrain,
it does not need a levelled subsoil foundation,
adapts to uneven ground, bushes, trees and various obstacles,
it has joints between the joints and therefore excess water can flow between the bags. (For drainage, there is no need for a drainage pipe behind the wall, a DRENKAR drainage strip is sufficient, which also supplies moisture to the vegetation growing from the VOM,)
keeps the different vegetation on top of it,
is very suitable for outdoor solutions,
resistant to ground movements,
it is lightweight and therefore easy to transport (sites without paved roads, etc.),
it can also be used for planting flowers and growing crops such as strawberries, blueberries, etc.
