Description
An energy audit is a guide to saving energy. It is not legally required for family houses and apartment buildings. At a later stage, it is the basis for the creation of the project itself. It forms the basis for the so-called Project Energy Assessment of the construction submitted by the building contractor as a compulsory part of the project intended for acquiring a building permit to the relevant building authority. Upon completion of the austerity measures, it is, together with the Project Energy Assessment, a supporting document for the drawn-up of the energy certificate of the building. The energy certificate of the building is a mandatory document that the building authority requires when conducting the building approval.
Economic benefits
It will not only provide building owners with information about the current state of the family or apartment building, but by assessing different solution options, it will recommend the most optimal procedure with a quantification of possible savings, the amount of investment and its return on investment. It is an excellent material for first considerations on energy saving options.
