Description

FN NANO® multifunctional coatings are used to create functional surfaces that convert light energy into a force capable of actively cleaning the air. In addition, these coatings prevent dirt and microorganisms from settling on them. This is the 2nd generation of coatings with photocatalytic effect, developed by the Czech company Advanced materials-JTJ in cooperation with the Institute of Physical Chemistry of the J. Heyrovsky Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, VŠCHT Prague and other leading scientific institutes in the Czech Republic and abroad. The surface FN NANO® layer achieves almost 100% photocatalytic efficiency and in terms of efficiency it outperforms other competitive products on the world market many times over.

Long-lasting and 100% protection of treated surfaces against UV radiation (10+ years). Reduced wear and tear on the facade, consequently extending its lifetime. Air purification thanks to the photocatalytic reaction has a positive effect on the health of citizens, thus reducing the costs that need to be spent on the health care of the population (treatment of diseases caused by air pollution).

Environmental benefits

The extraordinary photocatalytic efficiency and the special surface morphology of the FN NANO® coating allows it to be used as an air purifier for the effective removal of a wide range of pollutants (pollutants, allergens and unpleasant odours in the air). With just one contact of the air mass with the photocatalytic surface of the coating, on average approximately 50% of the degradable pollutants are removed (the figure is proven by tests of independent analytical workplaces in the Czech Republic and abroad). This parameter is crucial for the air purification function and guarantees high air purification efficiency both indoors and outdoors. It is the only technology in the world that is able to proactively influence air quality - the photocatalytic reaction taking place on the painted surface essentially acts as an air purifier.
