Description
The village lies 29 kilometres south-west of Košice, approximately one kilometre from the Hungarian state border. The first mention of Rešice dates back to 1319, when the village was mentioned under the name Rechita. An interesting feature of the village is the 350-400 year old so-called nice tree, which consists of two lime trees. Another treasure of the village is a 3200 year old sword from the Bronze Age.
