Description
Vetropack Nemšová, s. r. o., owned by the Swiss company Vetropack, produces, sells and distributes packaging glass in Slovakia. It offers a wide range of products tailored to customer requirements. As the only manufacturer of packaging glass in Slovakia, it is the main supplier of glass packaging to the domestic food and beverage industry. The glass recycling rate in the country is around 50%, while the average in Europe is over 70%. Vetropack Nemšová therefore has to buy waste glass from abroad and add primary raw materials. Annually, they recycle about 90 thousand tonnes of glass, of which 50 thousand tonnes come from Slovakia.
