Description
The Producer Responsibility Organisation (PRO) OZV NATUR-PACK ensures a functional system of sorted collection of selected components of municipal waste in more than 1,140 municipalities across Slovakia, including the three largest cities (BA, PO, KE). The principle of extended producer responsibility is applied through OZV. The entire sorted collection of selected municipal waste components is fully financed by industry (waste producer). In addition to ensuring waste sorting by law, OZV NATUR-PACK is also responsible for public education. OZV NATUR-PACK is a co-creator and long-term active partner of unique educational programmes and projects (e.g. educational software NeODPADni z WASTE, experiential programmes for the film festival Ekotopfilm - Envirofilm, tablet game Garbage Gobblers, etc.). Since 2017, it has been an active partner of the Black Swan portal, which delivers regular reports on sorting, recycling and waste prevention.
