Description

The selection of the zones to be planted was made in order to strengthen the green infrastructure in the city, where tree vegetation is absent or its addition is desirable. On the land with parcel number C 2508/1 there has been a transformation of the soil by human activity, when during the construction of residential buildings located in the vicinity, there was anthropogenic layering and mixing of building materials, guidelines for the process of pedogenesis in the framework of reclamation. The terrain filled and leveled with hardened anthropogenic ballast with subsequent cultivation of the lawn. The number of trees planted on the plot is 10. The trees planted were sycamore, hornbeam, bird cherry, bird rowan and small-leaved lime. The planting of the trees took place within one day. The planting of trees on the area next to the existing cemetery KN-C 11952/4 will primarily perform a landscape function, which is the completion of the landscape environment by suitable vegetation arrangements using aesthetically pleasing trees suitable for the habitat. The secondary functions are climatic and environmental.

Economic benefits

In summer, trees serve as shade and naturally cool their surroundings and roads, making them more effective in preventing overheating and preventing damage to road surfaces. This reduces the cost of repair. This mainly consists in savings on individual maintenance tasks.
