Description
The town of Púchov is located in the Trenčín Region, at the junction of the White Carpathians, Javorníky and Strážov Mountains. Púchov has strong historical ties to the significant Púchov culture and is currently one of the region’s important industrial and economic centres.
The town’s cultural and historical landmarks include, for example, the County House, which is home to the Museum of Púchov Culture, the Memorial Vicarage, and the Neo-Gothic Evangelical Church. Natural and recreational sites include the Lachovec Forest Park, featuring the Forest Memory Educational Trail.
