Description
Cigarette waste is a serious environmental problem, which is solved in a unique way by Reneso s.r.o., as the only Slovak company of its kind. It focuses its business activities on the collection and recycling of cigarette butts. From cigarette waste they create a quality product - cellulose granulate, which is a unique ecological product on the world market, used in the production of asphalt mixtures. The cigarette filter recycling project won the Golden Ant 2020 waste management competition in the Innovative Solution category, as well as the University Business Idea 2020 competition. It was the only Slovak company to be nominated for the World University Startup Cup 2020 student company round in China.
