Považská cementáreň, a. s., Ladce is currently one of the most modern cement plants in Europe. It was founded in 1889 and is the oldest cement plant in Slovakia. After its transformation into a joint stock company and privatisation, it has experienced steady growth in production and capital over the last decade. It produces
Portland and slag Portland cements and special cements of superior quality that meet European technical standards and customer requirements.
Its technological lines and environmental protection are at the level of advanced European cement plants. It has an integrated quality management system, an environmental management system and an occupational health and safety management system in place for the development, production of cement, industrial minerals and cement-based products.
The company has several European patents and awards. It is not only a producer of quality cements, but has also built up an image as a good employer.
