Description
KURUC - COMPANY spol. s r.o. is currently practically the only processor of multilayer combined materials in Slovakia. MCCs are a wide group of composite packaging materials, in which 75-80% is paper or cardboard, 20-25% PE and aluminium foil. They are mainly used as food packaging for beverages (under the common name tetrapak), but also as packaging for goods that need to be protected from the effects of weather, such as office paper. It already recycles approximately three thousand tonnes of waste per year.
The company develops its own recycling technologies, producing one or two multi-tonne machine lines each year, which are often used abroad. Thanks to technology, it can recycle its own products several times over.
TETRA K boards produced by recycling beverage containers through the effects of heat and pressure have been used not only in family houses, but also on construction sites such as Aupark, Polus and the new building of the National Theatre in Bratislava, whether it is lost formwork during concrete pouring or more structurally demanding vaults.
