Description
The village of Korňa is located in the northwestern part of Slovakia, in the district of Čadca. As of 31.12.2022 the village had 1 976 inhabitants. The highest point of the village is the Solisko ridge, which is located at an altitude of 875 metres above sea level. On the other hand, the lowest place in the village is the Korňanka riverbed. Among the monuments of the village are, for example, the Kornian Oil Spring Natural Monument or the Lime Trees on Vigľaš.
